Britannia Preservation was established in 1986.  We provide long-term solutions for problems with damp and timber decay.  Although we started small, we now employ a team of more than 12 tradesmen, who receive rigorous ongoing training so that they are the very best in their field.

Uniquely, Britannia Preservation is the only damp proofing specialist contractor in the UK that can boast the following affiliations:

• Property Care Association – Britannia Preservation hold full membership of the Property Care Association; the premier trade body for structural waterproofing, wood preservation, damp proofing and flooding remedial works.
• Chartered Building Surveyors – As members of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors, our staff are held to the highest possible standards of professional behaviour and proficiency.  RICS is a self-regulated organisation, acting in the public interest and sets the highest standards of competence and integrity for their members.
• Association of Building Engineers – Britannia Preservation hold Corporate Membership of the Association and have met extremely strict criteria in order to achieve such an accolade.
• RICS Regulation – While we are proud of our RICS membership, we are fully aware of and comply with their regulations governing all aspects of our work; and we adhere strongly to their Rules of Conduct.
• TrustMark Affiliation – TrustMark is a government backed scheme which helps customers to find experienced and reputable tradesmen to carry out work in their homes. 
• Guarantee Protection Insurance – Britannia Preservation are extremely proud to be on the GPI approved list of surveyors and are delighted to consistently work with high calibre organisations.
